“Intro” Forge a Railroad Spike Knife

“Spice” Level 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 3/6

Are you ready to dive headfirst into the art of blacksmithing?

This class is perfect for those who thrive on a challenge. Even if it’s your first time at the forge, if you’re confident in your strength and determination, this class will push you to create something extraordinary—a decorative blade hammered from a railroad spike.

Under the guidance of your instructor, you'll learn essential blacksmithing techniques such as hammer control, tapering, beveling, and twisting, with a strong emphasis on safety. This hands-on class is intense, but by the end, you’ll walk away with a beautifully edged knife and the pride of having forged it yourself.

If you're unsure about your physical capabilities, we suggest starting with one of less physically demanding classes, like the Sword Box Cutter or Bracelet to build up your skills and confidence before taking on this more advanced project.
